David Church
In David's own words:
I started my career in the early 70's after a chance meeting with a man called Jimmy Scott who was standing in for Richard Attenborough who suggested I could do well. I did! Almost immediately I was appearing in 'The Sweeney' 'Professionals' and 'Minder'. After many small films, the bigger ones followed with 'The Dirty Dozen Next Mission', 'The Eagle Has Landed', 'A Bridge Too Far' and Bond films 'The Spy Who Loved Me', 'Octopussy' and the last Sean Connery 'Never Say Never Again'. I appeared in 'Willow', 'Hellraiser' and the Indiana Jones films. After becoming an equity member through theatre I was working on 'Dr Who', 'Space 1999' and 'Blake’s 7'. I had a complete head and body cast for the making of the stormtrooper uniform and was a stormtrooper in 'A New Hope' and then as Lieutenant Page in 'Return of the Jedi'. Throughout my time I have done many commercials and stood in for many actors finishing with standing in for the late Warren Clarke on all his work for solid 14 years.
