Charlie Akin
Charlie Akin has been working in the film and television industry as a full-time supporting artiste for many years across the spectrum of films, television, adverts, online campaigns and photographic ranging from small, medium and large scale productions.
Most prominent roles have been in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as a core First Order Stormtrooper and a Resistance fighter (seen in the film) as well as a brief stint as Gwendoline Christie’s (Captain Phasma) Stand-in. He also played an X-Wing pilot in Rogue One and a Snowtrooper in The Last Jedi.
Other roles have included a mechanic in James Bond Spectre, a Black Leg soldier in King Arthur, an archer in Snow White and the Huntsman, Soldier in Les Miserables, archer and soldier in Wrath of the Titans, coutier in Maleficent, soldier in Jack the Giant Slayer, a protestor in Bastille Day, featured role in Giff Gaff “Hey You” advertisement, barman and a soldier in the British Empire infantry in Dr Who, guard in BBC Atlantis and multiple roles in Casualty just to name a few including many to be released.
He’s had the pleasure to attend and sign autographs for the fans at Comic Con shows both in the UK and abroad.
